In order to take advantage of industry needs in emerging computer game technology and design areas, many U.S. universities and colleges recently announced new major and graduate programs, minor and concentration programs in Computer Game Technology, Game Design, Computer Game Development and related areas. Faculty of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS), Bradley University (CS/IS Department) and the Interactive Media Program (IM Program), Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts, Bradley University (Peoria, IL, U.S.A.) developed innovative complementary and interrelated academic programs in Computer Gaming area that are described below.
