Tóm tắt

This study at Grove City College, a private, Christian liberal arts college in Western Pennsylvania, assessed the effectiveness of the college’s mission of service and engagement with others in society. An on-line survey with forced option and open-ended questions was used to collect data from Grove City College graduates between the classes of 1996 and 2001. Hopefully, the survey results will be beneficial for other liberal arts colleges of like size and mission as a framework for assessing alumni to determine the effectiveness of an institution’s ability to connect service to the curriculum and cocurriculum in order to shape caring citizens. © 2008 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
