Much of the professional literature is devoted to major university and research libraries. Consequently, less information is available about the staffing, services, budgets, collections, and facilities of smaller academic libraries. This study addresses that need and offers an initial statistical and demographic profile of the four-year liberal arts college library. © 1995 by The Haworth Press, Inc. All rights reserved.
